Here is a Veolia/SuperShuttle bus driver accomplishing a rare global warming trifecta - parking in bike lane, idling his engine, and sleeping on the job (see photo). Such multitasking is rare, even in this day and age. I hope he isn't too tired to shuttle 60 people around the Bay Area every day - could be dangerous. He sure looks cozy in there. Maybe we should just put a couch in the bike lane so he is more comfortable?
Bus-Blocking Amtrak driver to biker "FU A'hole . . . All aboard?"

Here is an Amtrak contracted bus parked two feet off the curb and blocking most of the bike lane on the Embarcadero. While taking the picture the driver asked me what I was doing. "You are blocking the bike lane, sir," I replied. He eloquently responded, "Fuck you, asshole, don't you have anything better to do?" He did move the bus, however!
Amtrak - A green solution to our energy woes?

Nice big Amtrak bus parked 2 feet off the curb and thus in the middle of the bike lane on Embarcadero. I am not sure if this is part of Amtrak's campaign of getting people off of the road and onto the train, but I am not sold.
Worse yet, they were idling. Driver was not in his seat. What is the MPG on a big ass bus moving at 0 MPH????
Great non-profit, but no respect for bike lanes

The Delancey Street Foundation is a wonderful charity. I have used them for several moves and donated hundreds of $. Unfortunately, I won't be giving them any more of my $ until they stop needlessly endangering the lives of bikers. I have asked their drivers three times to park on the curb in order to free the bike lane. As you can see here, they needlessly left 2+ feet on the right side, forcing them into the bike lane and me and my bike into 40 mph Embarcadero traffic.
